Hunting & Fishing Using the amax for hunting?

Has anyone used the 168gr or the 178gr amax's for hunting? I'm getting some loaded up and plan on hunting deer and hogs with them. I'm hoping they will drop the hogs and deer where they stand.


Also, at what range can a 168gr put down a hog without it running more than 5 yards?

They will kill fine. As for putting a hog down, that’s best left for bullet placement.

Thanx for the links Niles..... Looking at those pictures, I can't wait to go hunting with them now! There WILL BE carnage on the hogs!
