They make their own in fact I just picked up one from a friend at the school. It has data charts for the M118LR in the M40A3, their M39 (M14 DMR) the .50 cal. Plus the usual data sheets.

Looks like it has some great info in that book . Wouldnt mind haveing one of those. Your lucky to have a freind to get you one.

thanks vc!! been lookin for a format like this. has some very useful info also, like the effects on POI with elevation, baro, etc.

That is some old school blast from the past info. I still have the majority of them same forms and tables tucked away here at the house. Those pages have been passed on from year to year and compiled in numerous formats.
Those pages are neat little keep sakes and a nice piece of history. But definitely outdated.
I say this for the simple fact that the concepts, idea's layouts, improvments, and expanded information can be found in the Impact Data Books. All the baseline of our books stemmed from my time as a active Marine Scout Sniper where back in the day we were making our own books so that we had what we needed to complete our missions.
You honestly will gain ALL the info above and even more usefull, updated, easier to follow information, tables, charts, and reference material that is all compiled and layed out in a better format with alot more flexability and options in our data books.
Sorry to sound like a commercial but just want to through the truth out there. The facts are that material is 100% a great piece of Marine Corps history and nice to have, but it is outdated and we have progressed well beyond that material that is over 10+ years old.
We actually reproduced those last 3 data book pages for a customer a few weeks ago I will have Tom post them up tonight for your viewing pleasure!!

Still wouldn't mind having a copy of the relic! LOL!! I have the newer Impact Book already, but nostalgia is a compelling beast!!! Anyone have this in .pdf?? Thanks!

I agree there are much better options and this book is outdated but the OP asked about a specific book and this is the correct one. Also even though the book is old it has still been issued and used more recently than you may think and gets the job done.

Trust me I know its amazing how little some things change in such a long time.
I laugh because the 175 Max point blank chart I was at the school house when they made that chart Its funny to see teh same hand writing on it and it being passed around still.
We always have done less with more!!!
