I have an OD Green US Optics and when I get my rifle built I'd like to have metal parts the same color as the scope.

Does anyone know what brand or color combo matches it the most?

This is the scope:

Re: USO Green?

Second from left USO od green anno 5-25 TPAL with od green cerakote. It is so damn hard to photograph the anno and get an accurate representation of the actual color. I dont know why that is. It looks like it doesnt even come close to matching up in the pic but in reality it is not too far off. The SN4 was cerakoted Coyote Tan. Makes the black ones look pretty boring.

That is good to hear, because they always look brownish/gold in pics. I ordered my 3.8-22 OD Green anodized also and am probably just going to duracoat the barrelled action OD Green as well.

Thanks. If anyone wants to trade an ST-10 for the bastard leupold MK4 3.5-10X40 M3 FFP TMR please let me know. I like moa/moa. THANKS JBWIII It really is a sickness.

I wish there was a way to photograph them (read I wish I knew jack shit about photographing anything) and get a true representation of the color. I have not found a way to get it done. It is not an exact match for od green cerakote but it is close enough for me.

To this day I have never had anyone come up and tell me my scope didnt match my rifle. LOL I am glad I got the od green anno rather than cerakoting to match the rifle. It just looks....I dont know...freaking industrial strength I guess.

Yea it does look good! I wonder if that is a standard color or a mix of a few to get that exact match.

North,

The above quote from John is solid advise. You can also PM Todd (30calsniper) and hire him to do the job. He does excellent work and is a very cool cat to deal with. If Cerakote doesn't have a match that's close enough for you, he can very likely mix-up something that is.

Re: USO Green?

Here's one on a GAP in OD Cerekote:
The color is close, but not an exact match.

And here's one with Green-T:
Again, close, but not exact.

The scopes are not as brown or bronze as they appear in photos.
