Just for fun, but when I get my TRG would a USO look out of place on an Finnish Rifle..... My thought yes, like I should run an S&B or Zeiss. Whats your thoughts. And I know it really doesn't matter but hey some sticks look better with some scopes than others.

Also another very valid point. If your going to be spending that kind of money on optics it shouldn't be for looks, but rather for preference and performance.

Function over form! If its what you like and is a good fit for the job then who cares what it may "look like". However I think any quality optic will look good on any TRG.

What does what it looks like have anything to do with how well it works?

If it offends your aesthetic sense, which is going to effect your shooting, that's on you. Otherwise peel that rainbow bumper sticker off your car and don't worry about it.

Awesome!!! Yeah Zacks TRG 42 is very sexy....I love the USO's thats what I want to get. Very funny replys...Love it.

I love how almost all of the responses are about functionality over aesthetics.

Answering the OP's actual question, yeah it looks a little out of place. The TRG is a very fluid looking rifle, and most USO glass looks mechanically untilitarian (steam punk esque).

If this is purely, "I want my TRG and Glass to complement" then yeah, the USO doesnt exactly complement.

Looking at it reminds me of a Corvette, with a spoiler attached. Its sexy, but not quite right.

Well all in all it really shouldn't be for looks. But i know what you mean. Personally though i like the way they look.
