I came upon some old USO rings while cleaning my workbench, got them on a SN3 from a long time ago. That being said I have a rifle and scope but no rings so I’m thinking of using these to get me by. I cannot find instructions on how to use them. Any input is welcome. I need to make sure that the scope isn’t off center on the rail so so I just screw in one side all the way down then mount as normal?

Mechanically zero your scope for windage. Fire group, adjust base as needed. Over shoot on windage adjustment 87 times. Give up. Lock down the bases.
That sounds miserable. Guess they'll be used to just hold a scope for dry fire between now and when I get some new rings.
