This is the brother of a friend of mine, shot this week here in Utah. It was taken on private ground, and I believe it was high fence

But, a nice bull all the same, and worth looking at. I believe he went 410 as a straight 6X6

Im not a high fence hunter myself but hunting is about a making memories. Im sure he will remember that for a while.

Can someone tell me the cost break down? Im guessing $2000-$3000 for license, then $800 for tag?

What? This was a privately owned elk. No tag, no license, just pay the man his price. Which was just shy of 15 grand.
