North Springs .22LR Challenge
Location: The world class North Springs Range
Date: July 7th 2012
Time: Match starts at 9:00 am

Round count - less than 100 rounds
Distances- 25-100 yards for the "Basic" group. 25-200 for the "Marksman" group.

Plan on arriving NO LATER THAN 8:30 to pay the range fee at the gate house and get to the meeting room for the safety meeting.
Those who show up after the safety meeting will not be allowed to compete. NO exceptions. Sorry. (So, PLEASE dont be late. I hate turning people away)

Cost: $5 range fee (paid at the gate house), $5 competition fee for the Marksman group, $3.00 for Basic group. (paid at sign in.)[NOTE: Ages 15 and under shoot free at the range so it will only be a $3 fee for the match for those shooters]

All ages are welcome to come and compete. Strict safety rules will be Enforced so ALL shooters are required to know basic firearm safety.
Whether you’re an advanced shooter or just want to have some fun shooting .22’s this is the place to do it.

The Marskman group (12 shooters max) will have to earn their spot each month to stay in the Marksman group. Shooters in the Basic group will be able to earn a spot in the Marksman group. If your just there to have fun and aren’t interested in the advanced shooting that’s fine also.

In the future also, you WILL need to signup either on this forum, on FB, or by email to get on the roster for the Marksman group. Keeping the Marsksman group to limited to 12 will be tricky. So the 1st qualified 12 to sign up get a spot.

Marksman Group Qualification Rules
The idea is to keep the Marksman Group as close to 10-12 shooters as possible.
1) There will be 12 spots Max for the Marksman Group each match.
2) If you score in the Top Ten you are automatically in the Marksman group for the next month’s match. (If there are 10 or less shooters they all qualify for the Marksman group next match)
3) If you score 11th or 12th but less than 12 people show up for the Marksman group at the next match you can still shoot in the Marksman group that match.
4) Top ten scores from the previous match have 1st priority on the signup sheet.
5) If you miss a match or more but were in the top ten in your last match you can still shoot in the Marksman Group if there is a spot open. Otherwise you drop to the Basic shooters group until you earn your way back to the Marksman Group.
6) Top 2 shooters in the Basic group have priority on the Marksman group signup over the 11th & 12th place shooters in the Marksman group from the previous match.
7) If a shooter from the Basic group score 1st or 2nd BUT doesn’t want to advance to the Marksman group ( Maybe hes shooting with his children in the Basic Group) that’s fine but he loses his chance to shoot in the Marksman group in future matches unless he scores 1st or 2nd again in the previous match.

We wont do a P90X stage this next match. But you will have to crawl under and go over a few trip wires. Dont wear a skirt....just in case you were thingking about it.

We will also have 2 stages that require a pistol. If you dont have a favorite pistol you like to shoot you are welcome to use my Ruger MK II. And everyone will shoot my shot gun also.

ALL MARKSMEN - Please take note that the next match will be $5 in stead of $3 to help cover the cost of more targets and obstacles.
