The calculus is simple; make it too painful for them to want to try and enforce.

This letter basically screams 'shut up serf!' and they are expecting VA citizens to do whatever they want, because they made a law saying so. These are the same muppets trying to make it a legal issue if 'too many' people go shooting together at the same time. What's next?

You can have all the laws you want. Now come and enforce it.

If they decide they want to, what happens at that point decides everything. Politicians don't give a shit about you one way or the other until it affects them personally. Sounds like that's the missing piece to all of this.

Jay Jones is a serious fucktard. What a horribly written letter.

A republican representative should write a similar letter asking if the Virginia AG would support unconstitutional laws that violate the 2A or if those proposing/supporting unconstitutional laws would be removed from office.

I wonder if he feels the same about states offering "sanctuary " to illegals? On one hand you have people who want to be left alone and keep their constitutionally enumerated rights intact. On the other, you have people actively stealing from our economy, tax payers, and culture. How the hell can the latter be acceptable while the former is treasonous?
That was rhetorical, I know the answer, but am still amazed by the ongoing liberal hypocrisy. FTG.

Funny how this liberal cuckold is seeing the serfs push back against the masters and NOW he is asking to have his ass covered just in case something goes sideways for the government. Glass houses are very fragile and can be brought down easily.

The open and public declaration of the Sanctuary Counties are for the Democrats' protection. Not ours. The reason being to dissuade the agitators from further actions that may lead to spontaneous and sudden lynching activity...

In other words, it is to prevent this guy from showing up...

This meme needs to be copied, shared, discussed, and chain-posted everywhere until it becomes viral. Even more so than the boogaloo memes. The latter is good for humor but most of it is gunnie insider humor. John Non-Shooter Smith from the streets might not recognize a lot of their meanings. However the one you posted reverberates across EVERY social, political, education, and age group.

It's too long. Most people would ignore it because it's more than one or two lines.
The ones that do read it will laugh and say it is a conspiracy theory. The government is not working to take over. You're foolish. Then they will vote for Bernie.

I bet the same fuckhead supports sanctuary cities for illegals....
THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

AG Mark Herring should respond with..... "Sure I will give my Definitive Opinion on Second Amendment Sanctuaries, but first I will need your Definitive Opinion on Sanctuary cities for illegal aliens"

Mark Herring is going to rubber stamp anything that has to do with taking away gun owners rights. He's as worthless as all the rest of them. He, undoubtedly, will back the Governor and the Democrats, because those are his people.

Interesting that he says not enforcing the laws passed by the Legislator will lead to a civil war. Ummm....hey, genius, you have that backwards. All those people showing up at Board meetings were kindly minding their own business and were no threat to you or anyone else. It's YOUR proposed laws that are CAUSING this divide. Want to stop this "upcoming civil war"? Pretty simple, listen to the people. Just because your city is filled with violence doesn't mean that everyone else's town or city is.

Pretty sad that there's a wesite called bluevirginia that only shows a quarter of the story of anything. Such propaganda.

Talking about dividing people? Let's push a "Blue Virginia" agenda and then wonder why the people that live in the rest of the 80% of the land in Virginia that's red, aren't thrilled about your actions.

F'in morons.

They will try to make the distinction that states have no obligation to enforce Federal laws yet people in the state are obligated to follow state law.

So why have a Constitution?

It doesn't matter if its enforced or not as long as its a law gun dealers will follow it and that has the same result in the long run. Its kind of pointless having something that you cant take to the range, and if you ever need to use it to defend yourself... Once it becomes law its to late to stop it.

I live in a commie state, and I can vouch for this 100%. Maybe they won’t be able to enforce this with the individual gun owners, but that doesn’t mean it won’t affect them.

It is not just us that seem to have a hard time presenting a united front, manufacturers and dealers will often fall in line just to avoid the potential of legal trouble. I won’t go into The who’s who of who stands up and who doesn’t, but I will say that there are plenty of quality manufacturers and retailers who will roll right over on us and write you off rather than face possible (attempted) legal action, or even just the hassle of dealing with harassment by your overlords.

There are a couple of them who are highly respected and often lauded right here on this forum who do so. On the one hand I understand the why of it, on the other hand I feel like kicking them in the nuts for abandoning their comrades behind enemy lines.

Coming back down off my soap box, the fact is, while it is nice to see some law enforcement folks at least speaking up against this shit and claiming they won’t enforce, don’t allow yourself to feel like this is any kind of solution, it is a Tylenol taken for a severed arm.

Atty General Herring had a comment today touting universal background checks as one to pass for sure. He also said he is awaiting to receive a resolution before he makes a statement on them.
Washington Post's recent editorial calling them Vigilantism will probably be his talking point as dems like to have buzz words to make their points.
