While the M86 rifle was a well made rifle and usually very accurate, there is no support for spare parts if you break anything. The McBros/McMillan MCRT or G30 actions are different from the old G.McMillan actions and none of the parts swap over. You may find some spare bolts from Dave Kiff @ Pacific Tool and Gauge but that's about it. They also used a goofy scope base setup, you would need to use Rem 2-piece bases (2 fronts - no rears) to make a working scope platform since the rear of the receiver is shaped just like the front, unlike a Rem action. Firing pins, bolt releases, etc. are basically non-existent.
It makes for a nice collector's gun and may increase in value purely as a piece of gun history but I'd be wary of using it beyond some casual range sessions, etc. that is unless you can machine your own replacement parts.
