AR-30A1 338 LAPUA TARGET RIFLE WITH ADJUSTABLE STOCK

Just my opinion on this rifle that's not really related to the price.
I bought one of these awhile back(ar30a1 300wm) and I upon inspection at the FFL the quality was bad enough to the point that I refused the rifle and had it sent back to grabagun. The adjustable stock parts were loose/wobbly and had no way of tightening them down, the brake looked it was cast iron, the bolt lift was extremely heavy, the saftey was extremely annoying in design. Overall just not worth the price paid... I went ahead and spent a few hundred extra and had a custom rifle built and i'm very happy with my decision.

I second what Ian said, after handling one no way would I give close to what they want for them. The old AR30's at $1500-1700 new were a good value for a 338 but still left a lot to be desired. For the cost of an A1 you can get a Sako TRG-42, that's a no brainer. For a little more you can be into a used AI AWSM or AX as well.
