Suppressors Value of NIB HK P9S 9mm? **UPDATED w/PICS**

Ok...so I have searched all over trying to find the value of New In Box HK P9S in 9mm.
Pistol was bought in 1981. In original box,w/factory test target,manual,etc.
Again..this gun has NEVER been shot.

Any thoughts? I am thinking about selling it but not sure what to ask.

according to the 29th edition of the blue book 100% condition is worth $850 for a P9S & the P9S target is $1,000 & has adjustable sights. I don't put much faith in this book since i've seen street prices higher & lower than what is listed but it is a starting point. Try the suggestion from bigboss, you should be able to get a real streeet price on the HKforum.

If you're looking to sell, I'd auction it on Gunbroker. There is no more dedicated fanboy than a H&K fanboy (except possibly a Magpul fanboy) and H&K fanboys are used to paying big money for their stuff.

Northwest Firearms just got a bunch of them in and is selling them for $499. They are not however New In Box.

Seriously though...that is a great gun and would be priceless to a collector. I am sure if you find the right person who collects H&K guns they would pay a pretty penny for it.

I will check my area and see if I can find someone to give you a figure.

From my "blue book of gun values" here in the office I can break it down like this for you:

HK P9S - 4in barrel, combat model, double action, phosphate finish,
Production ceased in 1984. Fixed sights and molded plastic grips.

Just guessing by the quality of the <span style="text-decoration: underline">finish</span> in those pics, puts you at about...
95% - $650.00
98% - $775.00
100% - $850.00

Those are suggested prices as to what its worth at this point in time.

As noted above there has been a spate of recent imports of this model selling for around the $500 mark which may hurt sales somewhat. But new in the box for the HK boys well I say $700-850 range if not looking for a quick sale.

I'll give you $26 and a bus token for it.

I'd say 600-700 priced low and 700-900 on the optimistic side if you aren't in a huge hurry.

When you do decide to sell it, us "fanboys" on the hkpro forum would be more than happy to offer you some money for that. Very nice pistol. I would still get an opinion from G3kurz or straightgrain (hkpro sn's) as to the value of it though.

Yes they make a great suppressor host, unlike the p7 series that blows a lot of stuff back in your face. These guns are great with a can on them.
