Varget in .260

142 grain SMK and 39 grain of Varget and I have drilled one little tiny hole. Varget is great for .260. From 100y to 1400y I have no problems. Do a search as this has been covered many times and we all agree.
39.3gr with a 120gr Nosler BT or 123 A-Max; some rifles find a node about one grain higher than this as well.
38.0ish +/- 0.2gr with a 139-142gr bullet. Expect velocities about 100fps slower than achievable with H4350.

Yup slower than H4350 but if your above 2700 fps your doing just fine. Sometimes a littler slower is more accurate.
I've been using 34.0 grains of Varget with Hornady 140 gr BTHP which you can find pretty cheap. Very accurate little plinking round. Sounds like a maraca with the powder in the case but gets the job done to 1k. Low and slow wins the race....
For faster burns of course I use 4350. But 34 grains of Varget is efficient and effective.
