I searched and could not come up with anything. I read over the years leupold would convert a var-x3 30mm tube scope that has tactical knobs to m1 knobs. Are they still doing that conversion? Anyone had one done recently? I looked on the site and its different then the old site i read it on also. I may doa TMR recticle change also. What is a vx3 LR 30mm tube 4.5x14x50 mildot worth in good shape these days? Also is there a big deal with the indexed or not deal they started duing right before the mk4 came out i believe it was? is this something that can be upgraded if necessary?

It's not a cheap conversion and may not be worth doing for the cost considering what you'll gain.I called Leupold recently for a similar conversion and was told something like $79 per knob.Reticle change I THINK is around a hundred bucks.You may be better off leaving it or selling and buying what you want.

I just had M1 turrets and a TMR reticle change done on my VX-III, pricing was:
$129.99 for the M1 turrets.
<span style="text-decoration: underline">$159.99 </span>for the TMR reticle.
$289.98 Total.
So, no it's not cheap but in my case I got the scope in on trade and didn't have alot in it so that offset the price for the modifications I had done. Just my two cents but you may want to look into selling your scope and just look for a good buy on a used Mark4 in the for sale section, which I've seen several of.
