I searched the threads for vcog info and I found it mentioned and lightly touched on in a few threads but. We really have no deticated "VCOG thread". None that i found anyway. So if you have any vcog experiance places post here. I'm interested I every aspect of vcog usage. From 1x red dot type shooting to reaching out to medium ranges on 6x. Letme know thanks.

Got to try it out on a friends rifle a few weeks back. I had originally wanted to see if it would work as an spr optic. It ended up not being what I wanted for that purpose. However on a carbine that scope is awesome. 1x is just as fast as a T1.... 6x with 77gr ret was very nice and pretty fast. Most people will groan about the price but think about this... You wont need to purchase a mount, additional rds or offset mount. All that is included. There are great deals to be had. Shop around and look here in the classifieds. I wish it had a mil based reticle and or adjustable turrets. So instead I'm going cqbss for the spr and later a vcog for a lighter carbine.

G3 - thanks for sharing your impressions! Since you are going with the CQBSS, I'm assuming you wanted more mag at the upper end for an SPR?

For others who have used the scope, how would you compare it to a MK6 1-6?

It wasn't necessarily the mag. it was a combo of no mil reticle and non adjustable mil turrets. If it had either I would have chose it. FWIW i have never used a cqbss, Im going to purchase the cqbss based on the info I've gathered.

Thanks, appreciate the clarification on which features you were looking for!

Anyone able to offer a direct opinion vs. the MK6 1-6?
