Vectronix Terrapin:Way to shorten time between multiple measurements?

Just like the title says. Does anybody now if there is like a software update or something that that can be done that will shorten the time you have to wait to re-range a target? It would be nice to just be able to hit the button and every time it give you a range vs having to wait 3-4 seconds for it to clear and let you get another measurement. Any input is appreciated.

The reason for the delay is that the capacitor is recharging. Some of your lower end LRF are able to re-range quicker is because it uses a less powerful laser and doesn't require as much power flow. I doubt there is way to decrease the time between shoots.

Ah well that makes sense. Never really thought about that I guess. So basically we need to Tim Taylor the bitch and give it more power somehow haha.
