I always exercised hard. Went vegan and it changed my like. Blood lipids are those of an 18 year old, but I'm 53.
I tried the "eat fat, lost fat" way of eating, and it trims you, but definitely doesn't cut you. Also doesn't have an equally positive impact on bloods as vegan.
First hand information for your consideration.
Thanks.

what is the differance between trim and cut?

apparently you were eating the wrong sources of fat , alot of body builders use fats/protein diets to reach their absolute leanest most "cut" level. Also, a diet rich is healthy fats from natural sources will raise your HDL , lower your LDL and triglcerides , your liver enzimes (AST&ALT) depend alot on other factors besides diet.

all that aside , what exactly is it your looking for ?? do you want to lose more fat , gain muscle?

i think its a complete load of horse shit ramblings by fanatical vegans just like "super size me"...

if you watch your intake numbers even a all mcdonalds diet would decrease all your disease risk, and weight issues...and this has been proven..

vegans lose water weight first, then they lose muscle, then they are skinny fat forever because they are too stupid to realize that you cant change millions of years of evolution in 1 generation...have you ever seen a healthy looking muscular vegan? no...and you never will

^ This right here is pretty much what I think , I am not say don't be a vegetarian , what I am saying is that fat and protein is a very large part of my diet and it work's for me , and thousands of other ppl .

I also have pretty low body fat I can go lower if I want .
