Suppressors Velocity question....

My 300-338 Lapua with a 125 ballistic tip has a present velocity in the 4250fps range.

How much does a can typically increase the velocity. (TBAC/SRT)

Hell bent for leather to knock on the door of 4500fps.

I've seen between 15-20 fps gain from my TBAC 30-P1

i've had as much as 40fps. sometimes people are using percieved velocity from trajectory validation and i think their dope is simply "better" to a degree from barrel timing change or oscillation changes. thats my .02

I tend to see more "can boost" on my shorter barreled guns.
My 18" tight bored Bartlein 308 sees a chronographed 50 fps increase with a surefire can, while my GAP 10 with a 20" barrel sees about 25 with the same can.
I even get a little boost on my MK18 with the AAC can.

My AI 6.5CM 24" sees about 16 fps increase average from my TBAC 30P.

All measured with Ohler 35P across several lots of ammo.

I get approximately 30-35fps increase through my OPS INC 3rd Model .30 cal. on my 20" Bartlein barreled R700 .308.
