good to have been there input. tx. i sorta have the same vis a vis Chile thru relatives. my points would be 2. 1) regime change,narco busts,oil nothing going on here is worth more American lives. if that is your wish then grab a rifle and head on down. same applies to Gaza and Ukraine. the chest thumpers in this country always seem to want some more war. when it comes to going or sending their kids,not so much. 2) yes we have a huge drug problem. blowing up a few boats or removing Maduro is not gonna make a dent in the problem. Columbia and Mexico remain the big players. supply and demand-as long as there is demand supply is gonna happen. that is never mentioned in our decades long unsuccessful war on drugs. but that is a hard problem. easier to bomb stuff.
