I think I can manage to launch a card his way. I lost a friend of mine WW2 Army air corps spent entire war in Britain. I shot pool with him he loved old granddad whiskey smoked a pipe and we would get him some limburger cheese (his favorite) and you were compelled to eat some and it tasted like ass literally. Things you do for friends LOL.

You know..........if it was only a couple of hundred miles..........I would do the same thing..............I'm almost 2 X your age.........and I feel the same way...........there is a reason that they call them " The Greatest Generation"...............

If I had been home in Australia I would have sent a card, as I have done for others but being stuck in the Mid West in snow at the moment I may not get a chance but I am thinking of him.
