Rifle Scopes Vietnam era redfield scope on m40

Which redfield is the on used on the m40 back in vietnam?
My buddy has a old remington rifle that has a redfield on it.
The crosshair has ranging numbers to the right and at the top two additional lines on the cross hair.

Is this the scope on the nam era rifles?
