View first unread

Is there a way for the first un-read message to show up first when I open a thread I've already been to like the old site used to? Or do I have to click on the "view first un-read" button at the top the thread?

Right at the top it has a link that says, "read first unread" it's the first link ... right side navigation inside the thread.

Yes I understand that, but is there a setting so it automatically shows first unread? For example the Mail Call Mondays thread, I open the thread, then click the "read first un-read." The old sight it automatically showed first unread when I opened the thread.
