Someone did a limited run of reproductions of those L&C rifles about 10 years ago. I have no idea how many they made or where they ended up. But they were pretty cool.

Yes, that is a very cool air gun.. It turns out that Dr. Robert Beeman (yes the one from Beeman Air Guns) found the original gun carried by Lewis and Clark a few years back and donated it to the Museum. Quit generous when you consider this air gun is priceless.
I have had several emails with Dr. Beeman over the years and he quit the gentleman and a great asset to American History. Thanks Dr. Beeman if you ever see this...
