Hi guys.
So, I have this old scope mount that I am unable to identify. I've gone through Nick Stroebel's book, cover to cover, to no avail. I have also spent many hours on Google without success.
The mount is blued steel, has 0.875" rings that are hinged on one side.
The mount has windage and elevation adjustment built in, by means of fine machine screws.
The base is a 3 screw design for attaching to the side of a receiver. The rings are precision dovetailed to the mount.
The mount attaches to the base with a knurled thumb screw, as can be seen in the pics.
All said, the very fine tolerances of this mount suggest it is a very high quality piece of engineering. I estimate 1930-1945 as a manufacturing date, but I could be wrong.
Any help identifying the manufacturer, model, history of this mount would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

It looked familiar, so I searched "Remington 341 w/scope) and found this pic online. I've got one at home ( IIRC they are same/similiar).
1930's vintage scope mount. I do not know if Remington installed them or if they were aftermarket?

Thanks Dann. I think my mount looks very different from the mount in your pic... I'm sure it's not the same, but thank you anyway.
