Hey Hiders,
My Uncle passed away several days ago, and left me his collection and parts/accessories. He was really into vintage stuff and I am trying to figure out this particular Swarovski optic. It is a ZFM 6x42 with (I think) Stanag mounting blocks, installed on an A.R.M.S. #19 QD base. What rifles were these used on, and what kind of compatibility is there for this thing? There is a second ZFM here with obviously Steyr SSG69 rings attached to it (one of the rifles he left behind), but this one doesn't look to me like it'll fit the SSG's receiver dovetail. The scope and mount are in really excellent condition - I don't know that he ever used it.
Thanks for any help or input you can give me. I'm just wondering what, if anything, I can use this optic on.

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle.

That scope mount is interesting. Its not an SSG-69 scope, and I reviewed my books re the Beretta Combat sniper rifle and FN30-11, but neither seems to use that type of mount. It is definitely European, and I suspect it goes on a German or Austrian rifle, and the Weaver type rail suggests a 1980s era, but I came up empty with my references. You might want to contact ARMS and see if they have any info (unfortunately their owner/founder passed away not long ago).

Fwiw, I have an Austrian SSG-69 green plastic scope case in case I ever found a nice SSG-69 that I wanted, so it your Uncle's has a 6x scope on it, I have a spare transport case if interested.
