Rifle Scopes Viper 6.5-20X20 or Nikon Monarch 5-20X44 ? Rings?

The reason I'm asking again, because I sold my Monarch nikoplex scope, and here is again I can't decide.
I have 2 options.
To get a
Nikon Monarch 5-20X44 BDC or Vortex Viper 6.5-20X44 BDC or MIL-dot ???

The Nikon is 40 MOA the Viper is 68 MOA. I already have a EGW Savage RB (Round Back) Picatinny Tactical Rail Scope Mount.
I don't know what rings I need because if I will go with a Viper (most likely) than I need a 30mm rings. What I found here :

My question is If I will go with Viper , what type of rings I need ? LOW, Medium or High?
Or other brand? Please help me , I would like to order today!
If I will get a Nikon Monarch , I already have a Burris Zee Signature 1" Rifle Scope Mount Rings for Weaver Style bases for it.


Soooo, Viper, or Monarch....BDC or Mil-DOT. And what rings??

Is that difficult question? Can somebody tell me what rings I need for that rail? Or this rail will not good for 30mm scopes?
What do you have on your Savage 10FP?
Probably I'm not the only one who has Savage 10 FP , Am'I ?

I've just bought the same. EGW base 20moa base, Savage m10PC and LOW Warne QD rings. Scope and rings were bought from Scott at Liberty Optics. Base locally, Rifle is not in port yet so I can't upload pics for you. Many dont like the Warne's, I like the close return to zero and ability to take the scope off to clean/dry the guns properly for quite a cheap price.

Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 with "Ultra Low" TPS rings would be the way to go!

On the reticle, if you intend to use the Mil-Dot for ranging, it's needed, if your shooting at paper with varying know distances, go with the BDC.

BDC is for hunting, mostly for longer range shots, you will still need to know the distance and have ammo that is loaded to work with that reticle, in most cases a regular duplex works fine.
