took this to the range today

after getting it focused, which was easy; tested it thru the range.
the glass remained clear and the reticle remained sharp and in focus from 2.5 to 10.

i have the moa/moa version; ranged a steel at 450 yds with it; the calculations turned out to be 440 yds, which is likely due to my reading of the reticle.

while the PST is not a NF or a USO; it has very nice glass for them money; will be buying another one.

I like mine quite a bit also. I had it mounted on my 308Win SPS for late antlerless season, but have since moved it to my SPR to try and knock out some coyotes.

I was pleasantly surpised with Vortex's cheap answer to zero stop. They included shims to shim the elevation adjustment so that you cannot screw it down past your zero.

The glass is the clearest I have owned. I am pretty new to scopes.

I have a second on backorder that will go on the second rifle.

I think this is why they are going to sale a lot of these. I have an AR just screaming for one of these.

Thanks for the report. Hope to see many other positive ones like it.

That's exactly what I've been saying about my PST 1-4.

A 2.5-10, or possibly a 4-16 seems destined to replace the old M8 on my bolt gun.

Please add to your review as you gain experience with it, (including rings, rail, etc).

I agree after looking at comparisons it's not a NF or USO, but the thing is, it isn't too far off either. Which makes it a hell of a value. Other than my zeiss and USO. The PSTs i've seen images through look 10x clearer than all the LPs and Nikons in the gun cabinet. Of course the best LP we have is VX-III. Not that it's ment to be tactical scope, it's still in the same price range or was as it's PST equal.
