Rifle Scopes viper question

Got a great deal on a 6-24x50 pst. This is my first vortex optic other than a strikefire red dot on my ar.... I have it mounted on a savage 10fcp in .308. After firing 5 or 6 shots, I have to readjust the side focus for a clear view. I also noticed that the numbers on the side focus are off on the actual yardage when the target is in focus... Not necessarily a huge deal but just kinda bugs me... The change in focus is more of a concern to me, and it may just be my mid life eyes...

If its bad enough, send it back to the factory. Call Vortex first. They have great customer service and can walk you through any potential issues. Vortex has a lifetime warranty, even if you buy it second hand. They stand behind their scopes. I have the same scope and I love it.
