Does anyone know if the versa vise that brownells sells is very good. Its made like the shop fox. Thanks

I got MY Versa Vise for free when someone threw it out out of their shop.

I have the Grizzly version and really like it. Prior to that I had a Harbor Freight drill press vise mounted to my bench. The mounting block allowed you to put the jaws parallel or perpendicular to the bench top. Super-duper handy, which is why I later switched to the Grizzly, which is a lot heavier-duty than the drill press vise.

I use mine for just about any light task, even for holding long guns vertically for barrel cleaning.

I've got a versa vise that was purchased used over 10 years ago.
Seen alot of heavy use and still going strong. If the new vises are of the same quality, its money well spent.

I tried purchasing the vise that was on ebay and it went for $77.00. I am thinking of purchasing this vise what do you think.
