Somewhere on here I read a post or link about how to texture a stock grip and paint the stock with Preval air canister, but cannot find the post. Could someone please link to it for me. I would like to try my hand at it. The article was written by Vodoo something ?

For all others here's the article, DuraCoat Painting Made Easy. I used the technique outlined on HateCA's website to do the grip texturing which can be found here Stock Texturing. I hope the article helps and good luck on your project Bluejazz.

Thanks for the article. Read the article awhile back and decided to try it. Bought a used HS Precision stock for 200.00 w/ Karsten cheek piece. Sold the cheek piece for $45.00. Filled in the holes with Devcon. I have done the texturing on the grip and forearm with Devcon steel puddy also. I probably put to much work into, as I sanded the areas down to bare fiberglass before applying the Devcon. I dropped it off to a friend to have a better recoil pad ( XLT ) put on it.
At this point I am undecided on guncoat or cerakoat C . Have the Preval spray canisters but need to check and see if they will work with cerakoat.
