Volentary Army recall

I don't know why they would recall these personnel, I am a 68W medic and have been sitting on my ass at home for the past two weeks. Makes no fucking sense......

The article doesn't say anyone is getting recalled. It says the army is "gauging interest" in case they need help coming up. Not trying to pick a fight here, just seems like people might not have read past the headline.

I'm a NREMT paramedic and been applying to places all over for jobs..... crickets....

Makes no sense.

Oh but it does, it's not profitable to a certain segment to provide solutions that make sense.
Fear mongering is a money maker.

A shortage of health professionals allows those people to push agendas.

After yesterday's conversation with a health care centers' boss, its obvious the very top leadership (way above him), is panic overreacting, and those above them are not instituting the in place worst case solutions we already have in place.

The most visible of the improper response was the political infighting over the emergency stimulus bill and the pork that got embedded.
The 500mil to the arts center, rather than to health worker supplies and test kits is the most glaring example I know of.
God damn all those pork voting politicians to the worst effects of the plague... sooner than later.

VR, best to us all...

Unless they are recalling retirees who are no longer working in the medical field this is a bad idea.

These Drs, nurses, orderlies, medics... that are currently working in the medical field are needed in their area. If you pull them from where they are then that area will be short of people to care for the ill. Calling up logistics type people to help get the supply chain delt with would make sense.
