Looking to mount a Vortec Razor 5-20 HD on a Gap-10 .308 and would like to know which of the two reticles you would prefer and why. EBR-2B or the EBR-3. Thanks.

Definitely the EBR-3 for me. The finer lines make it easier to mil targets, and the closed center works better for shooting small groups.

I have both. Just picked up the ebr3 and havent mounted it yet. I like them both. The 2B is on a trg 22 in 308 that will see hunting time and I feel the bold recticle works at low mag than the 3. The 3 is going on a trg 22 in 260 comp gun and this is where I think it will shine. The thinner recticle blocks less of the target and as mentioned the finer ranging subtensions will be great for UKD.

EBR-2B makes it easier to hold over for elevation and wind - think fast multiple targets at different ranges, plus decent mil-ranging with the reticle. IHMO it is Horus made right.
EBR-3 allows great fine ranging with the reticle, which IMHO is the one/only area where -3 outshines -2B.
The rest is up to you.

One of the things I like with the 2B is the open cross hair. It allows me to bracket a target and see what im aiming at in the middle. I know some of the places I shoot there is a black target with orange paster on the inside. At 800 the open cross hair lets me get a great aiming point where a closed cross hair would not.
