Seems like it functionally costs as much as a ZCO 2-10. I understand there is a quarter pound weight difference, but even though I have poo-pooed the weight of the ZCO one would be silly to spend the same money on a Vortex as a ZCO.

The least they could do is put it on a KAC if they’re going to peddle them like that. As Pappy said, just pay for the ZCO and have a decent optic.

Did anything ever develop further with the shorty AMG 1-10?

I can't see it having a very forgiving optical performance (just a WAG. Hope I'm wrong )but the package size looked nice.

I can’t believe there are 5 left - if anyone spends less then this on a rifle optics combo then according to many at the hide they are garbage tier ooors and probably rotten people .

Yesterday I was shooting an OG Aluminum-Lithium Hodge AU Mod 2 gun fitted with a new Geissele CHF heavy barrel (which is a fucking laser BTW!). On top was a Schmidt Dual CC. Fuckin' peak bouge circa 2019.

Even for what I paid for that once-unobtainium gun and stupid expensive German optic, I'm STILL over $1k south of that Geissele/Vortex combo.

My rifle has a $1,400 “preban” stripped lower, all other parts from Geissele, Badger, Criterion, Surefire, and with an Elcan Specter mounted on top. I’m still $2k less than that thing.

Also, Geissele needs to sell their Heavy CHF chrome lined barrels in 6 ARC.
