Rifle Scopes Vortex 4-16x50 FFP Normal Zero Stop Operation

So I just purchased a dpms recon in .308 and put a vortex 4-16x50 on it. This is my first scope with zero stop, and is it normal for me to be able to go about 3 mils below my zero stop??

Yes sir, with that style of zero stop its normal.

You can fine tune it,

Dial up 2 mil, and take the turret off. Add as many shims as possible, and re install with the 2 facing you.

See how that works, and repeat if necessary. I have all my PST's within a click or 2 of stopping on true 0.
