The big brown truck showed up today with my 6-24x50mm Vortex Crossfire.

I have not shot it yet, but I got it mounted up on the 40XB and took a look. It's quite a bit better than the Tasco Varmint 6-24x I have on my mutt AR, but it's not quite as good as my Falcon Menace (which costs 4x as much). If the weather holds I will have it out at the range tomorrow and hopefully check the tracking. The turrets feel good for this price point. The clicks are definite with just a little backlash. If it tracks true, then it's a hell of a deal.

The only drawback was I had to run to the store and replace the Leupold STD High rings I had with Super High to allow the bell and scope cap to clear the barrel.

Hope to get some pics up tomorrow.

I also received mine a few days ago and was impressed with the glass and the quality for the price. I look forward to hearing what they track like as I don't think I'll be able to try it out this weekend.

I'd be interested to hear how you guys are liking the Crossfire.
I have a 6-24 PST on the way, and I'm thinking about picking one of these up to put on my .22 trainer.

Re: Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50

I have a crossfire and think it's nice for the money. As others have said it gets a little blurry at the high end, above 18X for me. But for $99 i don't think you can come close to beating it.
