I’m primarily a bow shooter. Have been doing that pretty serious the last 8 years, but am getting into rifle shooting. Looking for a pair of good binoculars I can use for both archery and rifle shooting.

That said I don’t need anything too fancy yet. Maybe down the road once I get into shooting more. I want the vortex brand and have been leaning towards a pair of Viper binoculars. However the Fury has me intrigued (non ballistic. Just the regular 5000).

Does anyone know of the regular fury has a “bow” mode that will show an adjusted “distance” due to the angle of the shot?

Yes under features on their site it lists this:

Ranging ModesLine of Sight (LOS): Displays the actual line of sight range.
Horizontal Component Distance (HCD): Displays the slope angle compensated distance to the target.

Ok. Thanks. I guess I am used to seeing the phrase “bow mode” and didn’t see that and was curious. Appreciate the clarification
