Rifle Scopes Vortex Golden Eagle

I have been looking at the Golden Eagle for Fclass matches. My question is are the older Golden Eagle HD or just the newer ones? If the older ones are not HD how can you tell the difference?

According to couple of old posts on accurateshooter.com, Vortex said the glass has always been the same. They just added the "HD" later for marketing purposes. I couldn't find the posts but an email to Vortex should confirm quickly. I had one of the originals and it was a great scope.
