If you spend that much on a gen 1 pst youre an idiot. A quick google shows euro optic having it for 100 less and thats still about 200 too much IMO.

IMHO I think the Gen1 PST is a really good scope if you can get it for the right price. I have one on my 22lr trainer while I wait for a Athlon Ares ETR.

Just saw one in the Optics-PX yesterday for $500 I believe with rings. Cant beat that deal.

As @spife7980 wrote, don’t pay full price.

Now, as to which way to go: the Diamondback tactical is new, so I’d wait to let others check it out. The turrets have gotten a lot better since the Gen I Vipers. I have an HST and really prefer the PST Gen II turrets.

What’s the distance you’re looking to shoot?
