Was mounting my new Vortex PST 6x24 on my 300 Win Mag yesterday and am concerned with the eyebox. At 6x I had to move way back (about 2" or more) on the stock to get a clear picture and then move forward to my normal shooting position from about 12x on up. Eye relief was set about 3.5 to 4 inches. Moving from 12x to 6x, it seemed I was looking thru the scope at a downward angle with dramatic shading if I moved my head a fraction of an inch. Adjusting my position back a couple of inches (eye relief now 5.5 to 6 inches) then gave a better picture. Anyone else having these issues? Have not shot the rifle yet but the glass is nice and clear at the upper ranges.

Problems with the paralax adjustment? Normaly, on a PST, the eye relief shouldn't change as the power setting changes.
