Rifle Scopes Vortex Razor EBR-2B inbound

It should be here Friday. I'll try to get some sort of post up in the next few weeks with a review/optics porn/ opinions.

I've had a few high dollar scopes so I'll see how it matches up to USO, Nightforce, and some of the others I've owned/shot on my buddies sticks.

I've owned both Nightforce and plenty of Leupy MK 4's, it is hands down the best optic I have ever owned. Great scope.

Yes it will. While I don't think the glass is as good as the European scopes, it is as good or better than the NF and has something the NF doesn't have in that magnification range. It's FFP. You will like it!!

That was my deciding factor: 20X, FFP, and a "tree" reticule without having to pay the Horus $400 upcharge.

no time to comment in detail now I'm too busy berying the invoice/box/all other evidence that I bought osmething new before my wife gets home.

---First impression in a nutshell---
This thing is a hoss! the 35mm tube is massive! turrets are huge too!
Very clear through the power range looking at targets 20-400 yards outside my house.
Clicks are very tactile, more so than my USO.
the lens caps suck hard, floppy like a donkey dick, I could see them going nuts under recoil glad I already ordered a set from butler creek.
Reticle is thinner at 20X than my USO, thats a plus in my book.


all I got time for now, back to digging holes for the evidence!

That scope is so big, you'll never hide it... just suck it up and give her $500 and send her shopping.

I just bought my razor 2 weeks ago for a smokin deal. I kept it a few days waiting for new rings to make sure the height was right and immediately sent it to Vortex for the eyepiece upgrade and also swapped the reticle from the ebr2 to the ebr2b. Glad I did. It made a BIG difference. eye placement at 20x is now reasonable and not insanely tight like previously. the new reticle is an improvement as well as the ebr2 didn't show the holdoff dots worth a darn. Now you can see them and make use of them. I think you could use this scope as a bat in little league.
