Precision Rifle Gear Vortex Tripods

I don't have one, but shoot with a few guys that do and they love them. Seem to be in line with 2Vets, Slick, RRS, etc. Don't know where the components are made or assembly is done.

just picked up a radian carbon with ballhead off a prize table

it'll do everything i need it to do for spotting at matches. i dont really plan to ever shoot off it. unless fully collapsed and it would be with a bag on top not the ballhead most likely (i will always prefer a surveyor tripod to shoot off of if weight/carrying isnt an issue. nothing beats kicking the feet into the ground. shit dont move)

if i ran a tripod rear more i'd prefer a Two Vets QDT or an RRI 22i just to save time

i do plan to pick up their ridgeview carbon with a cert i have sitting for western hunting

Yup the Radian tripods are excellent. I like the leveling head version but personal preference.

The site says +/- 15 degrees. Fine for my use but if shooting high angle the ball head would be a better option.
