    One of the biggest questions we are getting is. "When will the Vortex PST start shipping?" We have been getting some of the 1-4x in stock and we have been told with in the next 30 to 45 days the full size scopes will be shipping. Below is a YouTube video form SHOT SHOW 2011.

    Would this make a good scope for 3 gun? i'm thinking it would.... I need something for the practical rifle shoots at my club and with the ar's we shoot from 30 to 300yrds and I'm thinking this would fit the bill. Kinda hard to order though when I've never seen one.

    Either this guy or do the strikefire red dot with the magnifier. Not sure which way to go...

    IMO a 1-4 is much more desirable for 3gun applications. Almost as fast(if not just as,depending on shooter) on the close stuff and much faster on anything beyond that. The 1-4 PST should do everything you need it to with no problems.

    Your thinking is correct, IMO. I have the NF 2.5-10x32 off my SPRish A/R right now while I wring out the PST 1-4. I ran the PST in the local 3-Gun match a week ago and it performed as expected - really well, indeed.

    I'm semi retired (from both work and 3-Gun), but local match or not I surprised myself by taking the second stage. (We shoot two identical stages using all three guns.) Rifle steel ran from 50 to 330 Yds.

    My thoughts so far are the PST will perform as well as anything out there for CQB to 300 Yds. Using a timer, the PST at 1x is just as fast on 10 Yds drills as my Aimpoint Micro (both tested on the same rifle using two eyes open during an extended range session).

    I've never used a magnifier, but I doubt the red dot would stand a chance on our targets at 300 - 400 yards.

    Thanks for the great feedback to deadnbrkn84 question.

    I’m not a fan of Magnifiers myself; I feel the magnifier can get in the way. I will say the 1-4x are very fast 1x and offer that accuracy need 400 and 500yds with a 4x.

    Sent you a PM a few days ago, with no response. I just sent another. I see other suppliers have gotten some and have already began shipping their larger magnification FFP PST's. Can we please get an update on the status of these scopes from your company?

    I paid in full months ago to get in on the supposed first shipment of these scopes and while others will be receiving their scopes the end of this week I still haven't even gotten a reply to my message asking for status of my order.

    Please advise.

    So far I think DuaneNC (he is 4 or 5 ahead of me, bastard) is the only one posting that he has a high mag scope on the way.

    Just wanted to post a follow up on this. I just received a phone call from Mike. He's swamped with PM's and emails as he has stated and just hadn't gotten to mine yet. He gave me the low down on where things stand with his orders from Vortex and my order with him, and we are good to go!

    I just wanted to do a little damage control here and state that Mike & CS Tactical are GTG. More then anything this was a bit of aggravation coming out on my end over the whole situation with these scopes in general. For that I apologize! I am a first timer with situations like this, next time I will know what to expect. Mike can only send out what he gets in from Vortex and only when it does come in.

    Mike, thank you again for your call! Looking forward to doing business with you in the future on other purchases as well!

    Well said... Some people are just anxious because Scott and LO as well as Doug @ Cameraland have both had the larger magnifications in stock or have already gotten the notice that scopes are on their way to them... I did some looking around before ordering and CStactical is G2G that for sure is one thing. He's a class guy and has been first rate all the way.
