I'd like to know this also! I really wanted to buy one, but then i just saved some money and went ahead and got a falcon menace for now. good decision you think?
either way, im really curious if these are going to be as good as scopes twice its price... i've heard they will and i kinda wanna get one for my AR10

Don't hold your breathe. When the first news broke last year, they said March. Later, Scott from LO said April. And now, I just read a thread on SWFA from Sam @ Vortex saying sometime in May.
They won't release them until they get all the details worked out, but Vortex is also a slave to their Asian manufacturer's schedule.

The Vortex Viper PST Riflescopes look like the end of April or early May at the earliest, however, when we have a firm delivery date we will let you know thru a post here on SH.
If there is a PST that interests you please contact us and speak with me or Neil. We will take your name, phone # and product desired information and will contact you when we hear from Vortex that they are available. This is our version of a pre-order as who knows when these will really be in. Having been in this industry most of my life I have come to understand that projected delivery dates and reality sometimes have nothing to do with one another. I assume that there will be an allocation situation from Vortex and limited quantities available at first. The list we're taking, IMO, is the best way to get the scope you desire as soon as they are available. No deposits needed. No pre-payment needed, just your name and contact info.
