Re: Vrigin brass accuracy?
I have done some experimenting with varying the pressures slightly between virgin and fired brass. What works best for me is to decrease the powder load by approximately .45% in new brass and I get the same accuracy between virgin and fired.
Specifically what I do is decrement the powder charge for calibers .204 and .223 by .1 grain, decrement it by .2 grains for my 22-250 and .308, and decrement by .3 grains for my .300WSM, 280 AI and .338 LM.
Works like clockwork for me.
