Vudoo V-22 fit in foundation stock

I recently purchased a Vudoo v-22 with a Kukri 20” Fluted Barrel in March and just purchased a foundation revelation stock. When placing barreled action into stock there is a 1/8” to 3/16” gap around barrel at the end of forend of stock.

1)Is this normal?
2) was there a option on foundation website for a small barrel channel that I missed?
3) I am assume that this is due to foundation making stocks to fit large MTU barrels and the only change the inlet of for actions and not barrels

I think your assumption is probably right. But someone else with the same stock should be able to 2nd that. Post pictures of what you have.

I have the same profile barrel in an exodus stock with a similar gap Id say. They are cut for MTU barrels i think? Or something along those lines so there is quite a bit of room in there compared to a kukri

The additional float space around a smaller contour barrel doesn't hurt a thing.

Left is Vudoo 20" MTU
Right is 26" M24 (not rimfire)

These are not Revelations but I imagine the barrel channel is the same across the board.

While there is the small gap...I can live with it given how great the rest of it looks

Ahh, I was thinking the Centurion stock rather than Revelation. I think they were going for a lighter build with that model and it looks like there is less stock in general (less material on the sides of the barrel, lower cut). So yours is likely showing more gap than the pics I posted above. I'd still run it

Yup that's a good gap but nothing that will effect performance. Only thing to watch is if you bring it somewhere where something could fall between the barrel and stock it could effect harmonics but that's not a usual happening. Here's a pic of my centerfire match rifle with a stock opened for an MTU barrel and I run a med palma in it. No issues.

Just don't look at it too much from the bottom.

My Mcmillan A3 is inlet for the Kukri contour and i have the specter contour and it is working out great.
