It is absolutely new in box and has all the original warranty card, box, manual, etc. and even the box is in new shape.

I'm trying to decide whether to mount and use it on my Arnold Arms custom Anchorage Police Dept. precision rifle or sell it.

Unfortunatley NOBODY here at home can tell me anything about it. Then somebody said I should come to you guys.

Thank you in advance for your help. I'm finding this place very interesting, I wish somebody told me about this place years ago.

I'd say the scope is worth $850-$100 new, for whats its worth Zeiss have the clearest lenses of ALL SCOPES MADE. But if it doesn't have externally adjustable elevation and windage turrets I would not use it on a long range custom rifle.

The "made in West Germany" marking is the kicker.

Zeiss Diavari are top of the line, but the warranty is 25yrs not lifetime. The Berlin Wall came down a longtime ago, your warranty is likely expired and once expired you're on your own for any work expenses...

They are fine scopes and have plenty of reticle movement range.

Great scope for a hunting rifle, but so many innovations in longrange scope technology have come since 2000 alone. Might be a valuable piece to a collector.

Good luck and hope you enjoy your Diavari.
