I have an FN SPR in a McMillan A4, been pillar bedded, and i was wondering if i can remove the action from the stock, have it dipped in a camo pattern and then re-assemble myself without it having to be rebedded. I've built a few AR15s but they're basically legos, and the bolt-action garage smithing game is a whole new frontier for me.

long story short: can i remove the action from the stock as a complete assembly and then re-install after hydro dip is applied? or is this a job best left to the professionals?
