Sold the last of my bolt guns last year to get into night vision but im getting the itch again.

Only had factory rifles that werent amazing but werent complete garbage.

Wanting to get something nice this time and was thinking about getting something like this -

was thinking $4000ish for the rifle and another $2000ish for the scope and whatever for some good rings/mount.

This a good option? was going to keep it 6.5cm since i already have a full reloading setup for it, powder brass primers dies etc.

Probably wont be shooting competitions any time soon if at all.

Anything im missing? am i being tarded? should i get something else?

wat do

Buy an AI AT from Mile High and be happy. Get the folding stock version. You will have it in a week or two and be out shooting right away. Put a Vortex Razor gen 2 on it.

Bomb proof setup, and saves all the fiddling around.

I think it is a good option, in that the components are good. But, have you priced other actions like Bat or Kelby? Other barrels (chambered or not) from Bartlein or Kreiger? And I've seen McMillan stocks for less money. There are other trigger options as well such as Jewel. You might be able to do just as well for less money. Less money for rifle components = more money for scope. Just saying. :)

Just missed this one, keep and eye on the PX. A lot of good rifles go through there.

Haven't given too much thought to other stuff but I'm not locked into my current choice.

Kinda do want to stick with the manners stock since I just think it looks really badass. Anything else I'm more flexible on though.

Have you considered one of the "production" precision rifles?
This is almost exactly what you're looking for at a very reasonable price:

I have but I also heard that the gap ppr was a limited run, also was only in 6mm and since I'm not going to be competing I wanted to keep it 6.5 since I have enough reloading supplies to last a lifetime.

Another option I looked at was some mpa rifles but I'm pretty sure I want something like the manners stock instead though I'm not 100% opposed to a chassis rifle. I also looked at the tikka tac a1 but not sure if that would scratch the itch or not.

Buying a complete from Altus or Impact directly would be my choice. This seems like a great option in case you don't want to piece it together yourself.

That does look nice.

A barreled action in a chassis or stock with som M-10 rings holding a decent scope.

Happy times!
