Lost in Idaho...
As the title says. Im sticking with .308win for this one, with a 1/10twist. I can go two ways with it and still be happy.

Option 1 would be an ultralight build, featherweight barrel profile, ultralight stock, maybe do some fluting to the bolt and action.. Just an all around lightweight mountain gun.

Option 2 would be a good all around gun.. Something not too heavy for hunting, but also not too light for range work or the odd PRS match where I want to challenge myself more with wind. Thinking a Sendero or Varmint profile, and maybe a chassis. Help me choose please.

Other things to consider are the fact that it is a superflous rifle as I already have a superb Browning X-Bolt in 7mm Rem Mag and a Ruger American Predator in 6mm Creed for hunting purposes, as well as some other rigs that are purpose built, heavy AF precision rigs.

Also, kind of considering the KRG Bravo Chassis for this build. Anyone have any real world use experience with it?

Thanks!
