Warne Ramp mount

Does any one have experience with these mounts? Im building up a 308 SASS and thinking of getting one of these to upgrade the rings I have. Also thinking of adding a red dot since the Ramp mount has side rails for this. Any i formation is helpful. Thanks.

Nice set up, dosn't work well with large objective scopes ( 50-56mm stuff ) unless the red dot is fairly tall

They're alright, but IMO they should have put the 45 in the front of the mount and not the rear. Also, if you're using a 30mm tube the windage knob tends to partially block the RMR. You can still see the red dot and in front of it, but the windage knob being in the same sight picture is annoying.

depends if you are right or left handed, and I agree that they should have put the 45 mount in the front of the mount.

You can flip the mount, just depends on how much eye relief is needed

I have two Warne R.A.M.P. Mounts and they are a great piece or work... Wouldn't hesitate to get another

I would if I could run it cantilevered to the front and have the 45 mount at the front too.

What other options are out there for a good mount that a 40mm scope will clear the rail on my hand guard?

Ended up going with a Larue mount w 20 moa in it. Figured i might be so in lined as to stretch it out farther than originally intended.
