1 heard a tale that black bears have killed more humans than grizzlies --- More so --- because they're more black bears distributed in areas over the American continent than grizzlies. And most humans over the history --- that have been kiled by black bears, or just turned up missing --- there remains have never been recovered, because they've been hidden in black bear caches.
